Well folks, Madeline is now ONE year old! I still consider her to be a baby, even though people keep telling me that a walking, semi-talking child (if you count words like mama, daddy, bobble (bottle), ousass (outside), doggie, uh oh, yes- um...ok, so maybe those are real words) isn't really a baby at all... but I am choosing to ignore them. ;)



This is the cake I made... and the cake that made me realize that I am NOT a baker! So we used it on her real birthday. Everything was made from scratch, down to the lemon curd filling inside! It actually tasted pretty good, despite it looking the way it did... ;)
