Ode To A Kitty.

Dear little sweet fuzzball of striped gray and white
who pressed paws on eyelids and sealed out the light
and chased catnip toys throughout day and night...

who drank from the sink when mom wasn’t looking
who came running ’round corners when tuna was cooking

who dug claws in our legs with each forceful bath
who hissed at our loved ones, making us laugh

who purred soft in our ears while sharing a nap
who kneaded clawless paws while curled in our lap

Dear little Teetie, sweet kitty and friend,
